Hookah and STDs????

Thats Right!
Smoking the Hookah can give u STDs like HERPES and HEPATITIS.

You can also get TB, MONO, and other communicable diseases.

DYK? One session on the hookah is equal to smoking 100 cigerettes!!!

If you are smoking marijuana, the active ingredient (THC) affects the nerve cells in the brain where memories are formed, it seriously affects your sense of time and coordination, making it more difficult to think and problem solve, but can also limit your body’s ability to fight off infections such as sexually transmitted diseases.

Question: Can douching help prevent STDs or pregnancy?

Answer: No!!

The only way to completely prevent STDs or pregnancy is to not have sex. You can reduce your STD risk if you use latex condoms faithfully, nothing but abstinence is 100%. Avoid any contact with sores on the penis, vagina, or elsewhere on the body. Prevent any exchange of semen, blood, and vaginal secretions between you and others.

Douching does not prevent pregnancy and may even make it easier to get pregnant by pushing the sperm further up into the vagina and cervix. The best way to prevent pregnancy is to talk to your doctor or nurse about what would be right for you in addition to using condoms. Remember only complete barriers such as latex condoms or female dams can help to prevent STDs. Other forms of birth control can not prevent STDs.

Is HIV the Only Incurable Sexually Transmitted Disease?

Some people don't know that HIV/AIDS isn't the only STD that pose potential harm or death. They think that any other STD can be cured and so they don't need to worry about them.

This is a mistake. Everyone must use protection (condoms) everytime, with everyone!

Here is a chart that can give you some idea what some STDs can do such as cause cancer, infertility, or even death!
